QUIET SCREAM is a photographic work that balances between silence and intensity. The image carries a restrained tension — a scream that never fully reaches the surface. Subtle warm tones break through the near monochrome, suggesting something human beneath control and containment.

The work emerges from a sense of inner pressure: the feeling of being stuck, unheard, or unable to fully express what is building inside. It reflects the quiet violence of expectations, self-doubt, and the constant demand to adapt. The photograph is printed on a rigid panel and framed in naturally tanned leather, hand-painted using a self-developed colouring technique. The leather frame is intentionally imperfect in its geometry, held under tension rather than forced into straightness. This tension continues the emotional state of the image: stretched, restrained, and unable to relax.

The work can be wall-mounted using the two fixing points on the back.
