QUIET EXHALE captures the moment after holding — the slow release that follows tension. Not a dramatic letting go, but a controlled, almost private gesture. The image sits close to monochrome, carried by a warm undertone that suggests skin, closeness and quiet presence.

This work reflects a subtle shift from endurance to release. After pressure, containment and breath, QUIET EXHALEspeaks of the moment where the body allows itself to soften, even if only briefly. It acknowledges relief without resolution — an exhale that does not erase what came before, but makes space to continue.

The photograph is printed on a rigid panel and framed in naturally tanned leather, hand-painted using a self-developed colouring technique. The leather frame remains under tension, slightly irregular in form, continuing the physical language of the body — stretched, held, yet allowed to release.

The work is designed to be wall-mounted and can be hung using the fixing point on the back.
